Although it
was widely called an "independent" commission, the 9/11
Commission was, in reality, not at all independent from the Bush-Cheney
White House.
This commission was run by its executive director, Phillip Zelikow (not
by its co-chairmen, Thomas Kean and Lee Hamilton, and the other eight
Commissioners we saw on television). The Commission's work was done by
Zelikow and the 85 members of his staff, all of whom worked directly
under him. This meant that, as New York Times reporter Phillip
Shenon wrote, none of the commissioners had "a staff member of
their own, typical on these sorts of independent commissions."
Zelikow thereby prevented "any of the commissioners from striking
out on their own in the investigation."
Besides directing the staff's work, telling them what to investigate
(and hence what not to investigate), Zelikow was largely
responsible for the Commission's final product, The 9/11 Commission
Report. Moreover, Shenon reported, Zelikow had secretly outlined
this book, and hence had determined its conclusions, in advance - before
the Commission's staff had even begun its work.
Why is this important? Because Zelikow was essentially a member of
the Bush White House.

"Conspiracy
theorist" is a bogeyman term too often employed by devious persons
to confuse and belittle the truth that facts and theories are two
different things. A theory, in simple terms, is an idea that can not be
proved. When a set of known facts support the authenticity of an idea,
that idea can only be painted as a theory by idiots or by charlatans who
want to make the idea go away. Often because the idea works against the
interests of the charlatans. ~ Guy |

BODY
OF SECRETS: ANATOMY OF THE
ULTRA-SECRET NATIONAL SECURITY AGENCY |
|
Comment
by Guy.

|
This very
disturbing book invites triggering the human capacity for not believing
what we do not want to believe.
One disturbing topic in James Bamford's book is Operation Northwoods.
In small part, here is what Wikipedia has to say about that proposed,
false-flag, atrocity scheme:
"... proposals were included within Operation Northwoods, including
real or simulated actions against various U.S. military and civilian
targets. The plan was drafted by the Joint Chiefs
of Staff, signed by Chairman Lyman Lemnitzer and sent to the Secretary
of Defense. Although part of the U.S. government's Cuban Project
anti-communist initiative, Operation Northwoods was never officially
accepted; it was authored by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, but then
rejected by President John F. Kennedy." This invites the question
whether JFK's thumbs down on Northwoods had anything to do with his
assassination.
Amazon's book description states: "A no-holds-barred examination of
the National Security Agency packed with startling secrets about its
past, newsbreaking revelations about its present-day activities, and
chilling predictions about its future powers and reach."
Northwoods can be viewed as an advance warning of the 9/11 attacks which
were planned ~ or at least permitted to happen ~ by Bush 43 and Cheney.

SUPERCLASS |
|
From
Amazon's
Book
Description.
3-3-09.
|
Today's superclass has
achieved unprecedented levels of wealth and power. They have
globalized more rapidly than any other group. But do they have more in
common with one another than with their own countrymen, as nationalist
critics have argued? They control globalization more than anyone else.
But has their influence fed the growing economic and social inequity
that divides the world? What happens behind closed-door meetings in
Davos or aboard corporate jets at 41,000 feet? Conspiracy or
collaboration? Deal-making or idle self-indulgence? What does the rise
of Asia and Latin America mean for the conventional wisdom that shapes
our destinies? Who sets the rules for a group that operates beyond
national laws?

A
GOD WHO HATES |
|
From
Amazon's
Book
Description.
4-26-2011.
|
On Feb. 21,
2006, the Syrian-born and raised Wafa Sultan gave one of the
most provocative interviews ever given by a Muslim woman on
the Al Jazeera network. In the middle of the interview
she told her male Muslim interviewer that it was her turn to
speak. And, she did. She told him to “shut
up”. This simple, yet radical, act of a Muslim woman
asserting herself in the face of a Muslim man, catapulted her
to fame. Now, for the first time, Wafa Sultan tells her story
and airs her provocative views in a book that pulls no punches
in looking clearly at Islam and the threat it poses for
the rest of the world. Her viewpoint and opinions
were hard won: As an intelligent young girl who would
someday become a psychiatrist, she grew up in Syria under
the thumb of a culture ruled by a god who hates women and all
they represent. It is from this kernel of female hatred
at the heart of Islam that Wafa Sultan builds her case against
the mullahs and their followers bent on destroying the West. A
God Who Hates is a fiery book that will remind readers
why, even at a time when we are reaching out to others, we
must be ever-vigilant about the threat Islam poses towards the
West.

BOHEMIAN
GROVE: CULT OF CONSPIRACY |
|
From
Amazon's
Book
Description.
9-27-2004.
|
They
secretly meet for seventeen days each July at a place called the
Bohemian Grove, a remote forest of ancient redwood trees in the deep
Northern California woods. Some 1,500 in number, their membership rolls
include current and former U.S. Presidents, heavy-hitting corporate
chieftains, and high government officials. Mingling among them are a
number of Hollywood movie stars, Broadway producers, famous musicians,
authors, painters and poets. These are America's most powerful men.
The celebrity names you'd easily recognize, but chances are you've never
heard of the Bohemian Club.
For most of the club's long history, the public could only speculate as
to what these men were doing behind closed doors. Now the truth can
finally be revealed.
Mike Hanson is a first-hand eyewitness who has been inside the Bohemian
Grove, and successfully emerged with the first video evidence ever
brought out of the power elite's exclusive compound. He peers behind the
deep, green foliage and twisted vines, and the moss-covered brown limbs
and trunks of ancient, gnarled trees to discover what really goes on
inside. |

AMERICA'S
60 FAMILIES |
|
Excerpt.
1937.
|
The United
States is owned and dominated today [1937] by a hierarchy of its sixty richest
families, buttressed by no more than ninety families of lesser wealth.
Outside this plutocratic circle there are perhaps three hundred and
fifty other families, less defined in development and wealth, but
accounting for most of the incomes of $100,000 or more that do not
accrue to members of the inner circle.
These families are the living center of
the modern industrial oligarchy which dominates the United States,
functioning discretely under a de jure democratic form of
government behind which a de facto government, absolutist and
plutocratic in its lineaments, has taken form since the Civil War. This
de facto government is actually the government of the United
States--informal, invisible, shadowy. It is the government of money in a
dollar democracy.

END
THE FED |
|
Excerpts.
9-16-2009.
|
To
understand money, one absolutely must understand what a central bank is
all about. In the United States, the central bank is the Federal
Reserve, the instrument by which our money and credit are constantly
manipulated for the benefit of a privileged class.
Today there is a growing social movement, even a political movement,
dedicated to ending the Fed.
All around the country, people are gathering outside the Federal Reserve
buildings to protest against the power, secrecy, and operations of the
Fed, and chanting this great slogan ["End the Fed!"].
Their goal is not reform but revolution: an end to the Fed.
I'm thrilled. You should be, too, since ending the Fed would be the
single greatest step we could take to restoring American prosperity and
freedom and guaranteeing that they both have a future.
Ending the Fed is the one sure way to restore sanity to economic and
political life in this country. |

Thomas
Jefferson once said: "I
believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties
than standing armies . . . If the American people ever allow private
banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then
by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the
banks] . . . will deprive the people of all property until their
children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered . . .
The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the
people, to whom it properly belongs." -- Thomas Jefferson -- The
Debate Over The Recharter Of The Bank Bill, (1809) |

| THE TYRANNY
OF GOOD INTENTIONS |
|
Excerpts.
Edition of
2008.
|
...
criminologist Richard Moran reported his research findings in the New
York Times on August 2, 2007: "My recently completed study of
the 124 exonerations of death row inmates in America from 1973 to 2007
indicated that 80, or about two-thirds, of their so-called wrongful
convictions resulted not from good-faith mistakes or errors but from
intentional, willful, malicious prosecutions by criminal justice
personnel. Yet too often this behavior is not singled out and identified
for what it is."
Americans are losing the law that protects them from tyranny, and are
losing the accountability of law, which ensures that government is the
servant rather than the master of the people.
One could even say that the U.S. criminal justice system is no longer
concerned with innocence or guilt, only with ruining as many people as
quickly as possible in order to justify budgets and political ambitions
with high conviction rates. Defense attorney Steve Sadow said that it is
an outrage that "a dysfunctional criminal justice system is
permitted to steal years from people's lives" by "falsifying
evidence and framing innocent people." Sadow asked, "Where are
the checks and balances in the system?" |

CORRUPT
JUDGES |
|
Excerpts.
2-25-2011.
|
In Federal
courts most Judges are former attorneys who couldn't make a good living
in the legal profession, or are lazy or both, so they find a way of
getting appointed by the President of the United States. Politics is
destroying America's justice system just like it is in everything else
in our country.
Most people believe that judges are on a higher quality in life, but
believe me; they are just like all other segments of people, some are
good and some are bad, some are honest and some are corrupt.
Integrity is a lost art in America's Courts. Most judges didn't have
integrity as attorneys, so why would we expect them to have it [as
judges]? |

CLASS
AND POWER IN THE NEW DEAL |
|
Review.
6-29-11.
|
Drawing
on newly available archival evidence, [authors G. William
Domhoff and Michael J. Webber] investigate the origins and trajectories
of three main policy pillars of the New Deal -- the Agricultural
Adjustment Act, the National Labor Relations Act, and the Social
Security Act. Their account challenges existing approaches and proves
that their class-domination theory is a bruising contender in
explanations of American policy.

THE
GRAND CHESSBOARD |
|
Excerpts.
9-18-1998.
|
Hegemony
is as old as mankind. But America's current global supremacy is
distinctive in the rapidity of its emergence, in its global scope, and
in the manner of its exercise. In the course of a single century, it
has transformed itself ~ and has also been transformed by
international dynamics ~ from a country relatively isolated in the
Western Hemisphere into a power of unprecedented worldwide reach and
grasp.
The Spanish-American War in 1898 was America's first overseas war of
conquest. It thrust American power into the Pacific, beyond Hawaii to
the Philippines.
The basis for America's expanding geopolitical ambitions was provided
by the rapid industrialization of the country's economy.
